Meet Mary Berney

My qualifications are extensive and have prepared me well as your Life and Career Coach. I am a certified Life and Career Coach through the Life Purpose Institute, La Jolla, California (www.LifePurposeInstitute.com), and I am a member of the San Diego Professional Coaches Alliance (www.sandiegocoaches.com).

With a background in Social Work and Human Resources, my life and career have been committed to helping people. As a CHANGE-AGENT, I have facilitated change for individuals in all walks of life with many different personal, work and life challenges. As a Social Worker, I helped individuals achieve emotional well-being, enhance relationships, create a new life after treatment for an addiction, learn stress management techniques, build physical and nutritional health and life balance.

In the corporate world, my change-agent experience includes teaching and assisting people with career and job transitions including layoffs and corporate reorganizations, wellness and balance in the workplace, effective communication and leadership skills, and managing with compassion. In addition, I have assisted companies with performance improvement initiatives and maintaining substance free work environments.
